Jazz Pianist Dave Bass on Insight

Sacramento pianist Dave Bass has achieved great success with his latest CD, "Gone." Among other credits, it reached #2 on the national Jazz Week chart. Not bad for a music career interrupted by injury, fatherhood, and a separate career in law.

Listen to Dave Bass interviewed by Jeffrey Callison on Friday's "Insight."
 
Dave Bass performs with trumpeter Robbie Kwok, bassist Kerry Kashiwagi, guitarist Steve Homan conguero Eddie Diaz  and drummer Tim Metz at JB's Lounge this Sunday, June 26th at 5 p.m.
 
Several Sacramento-based singers will also be part of the group, including Ann Roach, Beth Duncan, Francesca Homan and Vivian Lee, along with Clairdee from the Bay Area.
