Downtown’s average daily parking rate is $19.35. That’s about $3 above the national average and cracks the top 50. But the capital region’s daily parking rate is a bargain compared to New York City’s Midtown area at $40, and San Diego and San Francisco at $25. San Jose’s daily downtown parking is only $15.
However, when you look at monthly parking, Sacramento climbs higher on the list at $215, which is $35 more than San Diego and almost double the price of San Jose. The Colliers International report found San Francisco with the highest monthly parking in California at $350 ... if you can even find it.
