“It’s been a while. The first of the year we had almost a tenth-of-an-inch – but nothing as significant as this storm.”
“This storm” is expected to drop up-to-an-inch of rain in Sacramento. And Cline says that’s just about what we need to be on track for the season.
“Normal season rainfall right now is a little over eight inches and we’re at about 7.25 inches. So this storm ought to put us back over normal.”
Cline says it’ll be a fairly mild storm temperature-wise. That means foothill communities won’t be seeing snow like they did last month. But higher elevations above 7,500 feet could see up to four-feet of snow.
