Prostate Cancer   If you've tuned into a news program in the past day you probably know California Governor Jerry Brown has just begun treatment for prostate cancer.  The Governor's oncologist says the "prognosis is excellent" and radiotherapy treatment should be finished by January 7.  Joining us today to further explain the Governor's condition is the Director of UC Davis' Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ralph deVere White

Crayfish Poaching Months after what the inception of what seemed like a win-win scenario, poachers are threatening a crayfish harvesting venture in Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Lobster Company was created earlier this year to help University of Nevada, Reno researchers remove non-native crayfish from Lake Tahoe, which would in turn improve the lake's clarity -and the company could then sell the crayfish for profit.  But thieves have been stealing the Tahoe Lobster Company's traps and crayfish since August and as winter looms, the losses may put the company out of business and throw an unexpected curve in the university's research.

Found Footage Festival The Found Footage Festival is back in town, and it's debuting a brand-new show tonight at Sacramento State.  Founded in New York in 2004, the festival showcases videos found at garage sales, thrift stores, warehouses, and dumpsters. We're speaking with the festival's hosts Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, whose credits include The Onion, The Colbert Report, and the Late Show with David Letterman.
