Clunie Center Improvements On Track

Cecily Hastings co-founded the non-profit and says the center should be able to break even within a year after the renovation is complete, "There's a big historic hall. In that we refinished floors, we refinished woodwork, painited, cleaned stage curtains, refinished the stage. It doesn't look like it's brand new because it's a 75-year-old building, but they hadn't done any work on it since, I think, 1996."
All of the restorations have taken place in the past two months.
Claudia Bordin is an interior designer who's volunteering her time inside and outside the facility, "Our goal is to have the patio be a nice sitting area with table and chairs and umbrellas for people to have a cup of coffee and maybe lunch and we're looking for a caterer to take that over and provide that service for us."
