Rim Fire Fire crews continue to battle the Rim Fire north of Yosemite National Park. As of 7:23 a.m. this morning, the fire has burned more than 140,000 acres and it's seven percent contained. We'll get more information on the fire and what's happening from News 10 reporter Tim Daly. He spent the weekend in Tuolumne County covering the fire.

It's time again to bust out the RV and electric neon jumpsuit. Thousands of "burners" from around the world are descending on the dessert in Northern Nevada for the annual Burning Man festival, which prides itself on art and self-expression. And this year is expected to feature more art than any previous year, plus about 15,000 more people than last year. We'll speak with a build group on the desert "playa" about their massive art structure, and Capital Public Radio's Sierra Reporter Ky Plaskon, who has been following some of the Burning Man artists for months as they prepared for this year's event.

Cellist Ben Sollee Songwriter and cellist Ben Sollee will be performing at Harlow's Restaurant and Nightclub this Friday, and his environmentalist spirit inspired him to offer a merchandise coupon to those who ride their bikes to the show. Sollee, whose critically acclaimed latest album "Half-Made Man" received attention from NPR, joins us today from the tour bus to California. We'll share some of his cello-folk-pop music and talk about his recent projects, including a song for an upcoming Hollywood film.
