After several days of sweltering heat, Sacramento residents can expect cooler weather this week. Temperatures will remain in the mid-90s for Monday.
Tom Dang, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service says we can expect highs around 93 degrees for Election Day on Tuesday.
"It will probably be cooling just a couple of degrees everyday here for the next several days," Dang says. "By tomorrow, we’re looking at lower 90s. By Wednesday getting to right about 90 degrees. And then by the end of the week, we’re looking at potentially the lower 80s.”
Warmer weather will return this weekend, with temperatures reaching the lower 90s by Sunday.
