A multi-car crash blocked Folsom Boulevard and caused light rail service delays Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine Road at about 6:30 a.m.
Multiple media reports indicate that the crash involved six vehicles and left one car on the light rail tracks.
As of 7:30 a.m., Regional Transit says the car on the Blue Ravine tracks was towed and light rail service resumed on the Gold Line between Historick Folsom and Hazel.
The Folsom Police Department is advising motorists to avoid the area. Officials blocked northbound Folsom between Natomas Station and Blue Ravine Road.
