A system moving through the Sacramento region and the Sierra Nevada will bring snow, rain and wind Monday.
Forecasters say showers and winds with gusts up to 35 miles per hour are expected Monday afternoon in the Sacramento Valley.
Snow will be heaviest Monday night with levels dropping to 4,5000 and 5,000 feet, which could impact Tuesday travel. The storm is expected to drop about a foot of snow in mountain passes.
Another weather system pushed through the region Sunday afternoon and evening.
