Song Travels with Michael Feinstein
Host Michael Feinstein welcomes a new guest each week to explore the genre of American Popular Song, examining how these great songs have evolved through the years, changing with each interpretation and artist.
The songs on Nashville-based indie vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Rebecca Roubion have been featured on the TV shows "Bones" and "Pretty Little Liars." Drawing from the influences of Carole King and Eva Cassidy, her voice has been compared to Norah Jones, and her single "Break" was included on the 2014 album "Nashville's Indie Spotlight." Roubion joins Feinstein to talk about her recordings, "Fields" and "Forests," and she performs her original songs "Vacherie Girl" and "Feel Better Sam."
