Crayfish Poaching Months after what the
inception of what seemed like a win-win scenario, poachers are
threatening a crayfish harvesting venture in Lake Tahoe. The
Tahoe
Lobster Company was created earlier this year to help University of

Tahoe, which would in turn improve the lake's clarity -and the
company could then sell the crayfish for profit. But thieves

since August and as winter looms, the losses may put the company
out of business and throw an unexpected curve in the university's
research.
