Santer studies what he calls the "fingerprints" in climate change data that have shown that human activity is causing climate change. Santer visited Capital Public Radio to talk about his work, where climate change research is headed, and just how important it is to base our public discussion on science, not ideology.

Dr. Benjamin Santer is a climate researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and was recently elected to the National Academy of Sciences.
