The Capitals of World Team Tennis are moving to Las Vegas after 28 seasons in Sacramento. Team officials say they're moving the franchise because they were never able to find a permanent home in the region.

In past years the team had built temporary stadiums, including playing matches in the Sunrise Mall parking lot in Citrus Heights.

The team will now be known as the Las Vegas Neon.

Check out Paul Conley's story from 2006: Inside the World of Team Tennis and The Sacramento Capitals.
