Manipulating California's Energy Market The
non-profit corporation in charge of controlling 80 percent of
California's energy has accused banking giant JP Morgan Chase of
systematically exploiting loopholes in the state's energy market
for profit. JP Morgan Chase allegedly gamed California's
residents and businesses out of possibly more than $200 million
by discovering it could make more money NOT selling energy than
actually selling it.
Sacramento Shakespeare Festival Robbery
Last week, the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival was robbed of tens of thousands of dollars of
equipment that is used to produce their annual festival. The
theft could affect the organization's ability to continue to
produce the festival every year, after 27 years of presenting
Shakespeare's work in William Land Park. What happened and how does
the organization plan to move forward with this year's productions
of "Comedy of Errors" and "King Arthur."
Triple Espresso It's one of the most popular
comedies in Sacramento area theatres this summer, and if you
haven't seen it yet you've just gotten a little extra time to catch
a show. Triple Espresso was scheduled to end
production July 22, but California Musical Theatre has extended the
show's run through September 9 at the Cosmopolitan Cabaret.
Todd Morgan and the Emblems Todd

Beatles songs while they were students at Rio Americano High
School. The band has just released its first full-length
album with all original songs and is performing at a number of
