airwaves, folks. Who knows how long it's gonna go on before

Brooklyn-based art rock outfit TV On the Radio have a new album
(Nine Types of Light) due this Spring. Off Air was just sent the
new single, though too late to make the show proper. How about a
stream? Sure, that sounds great!

Sister Crayon: Bellow Release Party
Visit a country sans internet over the last few weeks? Maybe you caught the raging Capt. Trips Monkey Pox Nick did. That's the short list of ways you DIDN'T make it to Sister Crayon's album release party February 18th.
Released on Manimal Vinyl, Bellow is the Sacramento trip hop quartet's first full length record. To celebrate they held booked Luigi's Fun Garden with rapper K. Flay and this week's Off Air / In Studio guest, PREGNANT.
Luigi's was packed with a crowd anxious for more than pizza and an
average show. Celebrating the hard work of Nick Suhr, Jeffery
LaTour, Danni Fernandez, and Terra Lopez was the order of the
night.
DJ sets from Boss Magic! and Sex & Weight kept the crowd moving (as much as could be done within the friendly confines of The Fun Garden ) between stage acts.
Sister Crayon has been the humble "Nooner" concert act at Sac
State, become an SEMF mainstay and now is nicely at home as the
polished, working road act you're beginning to see all over the place.
By the end of the night vocalist Terra Lopez remarked "Sing along
if you can, I'm losing my voice, we aren't used to playing this
long!" Sister Crayon played Bellow start to finish at the end of a
very full night. Either the crowd didn't mind or they were the best
sports in the history of live entertainment.
