Capital Public Radio Morning Edition and Classical Host Donna Apidone has spent the past year interviewing several of the club’s selected authors and joins us with excerpts from her talks. "Call of the Wolf" The journey of a lone wolf returning to its historic territory of California for the first time since the 1920’s captivated people around the state as the story played out across newspapers and on television. Now, Bruce Forman, a naturalist enchanted with the journey of gray wolf OR-7, is bringing its story to the stage. The production features music, stories and a scientific lecture about the plight of wolves as they struggle to return from the brink of extinction in America. Forman’s production, "Call of the Wolf," runs January 10, 11 and 12 at Wilkerson Theater in Sacramento.
