The Sacramento City Council Tuesday will discuss the findings of an outside investigation into the city’s planning department. The report is raising new questions about an ongoing scandal involving illegally-issued building permits in Natomas.
The El Dorado Irrigation District says it’s looking at an alternate plan for rate hikes in response to sharp criticism from its customers. The district serves about a hundred thousand residents in El Dorado County.
