Michelle Rhee/ Money & Politics/ Tour of CA/ Sea to Sea Ride

Michelle Rhee  Michelle Rhee, Chancellor of the District of Columbia Public Schools system, is in Sacramento. We'll talk about her progressive policies in the D.C. education system and how they're working. Rhee is also engaged to Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson.

Politics & Money   A new study shows where money for California political campaigns comes from. We talk with Daniel Newman, Executive Director and Co-Founder of MAPLight.org, a nonpartisan research group illuminating the connection between money and politics, and Kim Alexander, President and Founder of the California Voter Foundation.

Tour of California   We wrap up this year's Tour of California bicycle race and look to the future of the event with sports reporter James Raia.

Veterans' Ride   Veterans ride their bicycles - some custom built - from coast to coast in the Sea to Shining Sea event which began Saturday at the Golden Gate Bridge. Many of the veterans taking part in the ride have injuries of one sort or another. The goal of Sea to Shining Sea is "to honor the courage of our service men and women, recognize the strength of the American spirit and challenge perceptions of how we view athletes."
