A series of rallies, events, vigils and protests took place this weekend, as Sacramento continues to grapple with the shooting death of Stephon Clark by Sacramento police officers.

A youth forum featuring members of the Sacramento Kings was held Friday night, and former Sacramento Kings player Matt Barnes led a rally at Cesar Chavez Plaza Saturday afternoon. Barnes will talk about the rally and why he’s decided to get involved in this particular case.

CapRadio reporter Sammy Caiola also attended the youth forum and rally and will review what happened this weekend. Most of the events were held without incident, though a protester was hit by a Sacramento County sheriff deputy’s SUV at a candlelight vigil and march in South Sacramento Saturday night.
