Law Licenses for Undocumented Immigrants Imagine passing the state bar exam but not being able to get your license to practice law in California. That’s been the reality for Sergio Garcia of Chico while he waited for Governor Jerry Brown to sign legislation allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain professional licenses in California, which he did this past Saturday. Garcia joins us to explain what the signing of the bill means for his law license, and how the new law could affect the rest of the nation.

Concussions and Brain Injury UC Davis pathologist Bennet Omalu will appear in a PBS Frontline documentary titled "League of Denial: The NFL’s Concussion Crisis." The two-hour report explores how the league worked to refute scientific evident that violent collisons suffered during a game ar linked to early-onset dementia and catastrophic brain damage. Dr. Omalu was the first pathologist to identify and describe Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy as a disease entity in football players and wrestlers. For years, his work and research was denied by the NFL, but he has testified twice before the United States Congress on the issue and provides testimony as an expert witness in federal courts and state courts across the US. We'll talk with him about his work.

Sacramento Ballet The Sacramento Ballet's full company is back on contract and the dancers are looking great, according to executive director Ron Cunningham. The first program this Fall will feature performances of Balanchine's "Rubies," Ron Cunningham's "Firebird" and Cunningham's version of "Rite of Spring," which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
