(AP) - Authorities are investigating after members of a Northern California synagogue found anti-Semitic signs posted on the property.
Rabbi Alan Rabishaw says up to 15 posters with hateful slogans were found at Temple Or Rishon near Sacramento early Saturday.
Rabishaw tells the Sacramento Bee the messages were pasted on windows and doors across the campus.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is investigating. The FBI has been notified.
The rabbi says he hopes the temple's surveillance cameras will aid in the investigation.
Rabishaw says since word has spread about the incident he has received offers of support from local Muslim leaders and other community members.
The synagogue serves about 275 families in the Orangevale area.
