Covered California There are big changes coming to health insurance October 1. That’s when you can begin enrolment into a new health plan offered on California’s first health insurance exchange. But this new marketplace of insurance is a seemingly complex realm, and shopping for a new health plan may sound about as fun as doing your taxes. So to get some answers about what to expect come Tuesday, and how to prepare, we're speaking Dana Howard from California's health benefits exchange, Covered California.
ACA & Small Businesses The new healthcare marketplace is open to individuals and businesses, but it seems to be even more complex for employers. We'll talk about the requirements for small businesses entering Covered California and what happens if they don't with Brad Davis, President of the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters.
Stewart Goodyear In three performances spanning less than 14 hours, Stewart Goodyear will perform all 32 of Beethoven’s sonatas from memory Saturday, October 5 at UC Davis’ Mondavi Center. And if that’s a little too intense for you, try catching Goodyear for a more intimate "Beer and Beethoven" performance at Bows and Arrows Tuesday night.
